This circus production of Laguna Bay was presented by Giffords Circus on tour throughout the UK in 2025, representing takis’s most recent design work.
Takis served as Performance Designer, creating costume design and set design for this production. Working with director Cal McCrystal and choreographer Kate Smyth, the design approach combined theatrical spectacle with the intimate scale of circus performance, creating vibrant visual narratives that complemented the dynamic physical choreography.
This production marks takis’s continued collaboration with Giffords Circus, one of the UK’s most celebrated touring circus companies.
