This operetta production of Trial by Jury by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan was presented by Scottish Opera at Theatre Royal Glasgow in 2024, in collaboration with Opera Holland Park and D’Oyly Carte Opera.
Takis served as Performance Designer, creating costume design and set design for this classic Gilbert and Sullivan work. Working with director John Savournin and conductor Toby Hession, the design brought fresh visual interpretation to this beloved Victorian operetta while honoring its comedic courtroom setting. The choreography by Kally Lloyd-Jones was enhanced by lighting design from Ben Pickersgill.
